Floralia: Tapestry Design

Create a solid-mass design with a geometric closed silhouette. Characteristics of this design include: volume of plant material dominates with other components optional; may have some transparent/translucent/diaphanous components; imaginative design techniques and applications, such as pillowing, pavé, color blocking, weaving, etc.; juxtaposing colors, textures, and forms.

Floralia is a Garden Club of Jacksonville study group that explores various floral designs and techniques through shared educational opportunities and demonstrations that foster discussion and critique among both accomplished and novice members.
