Learn about the many friendly snakes that make Florida their home and how they can be beneficial to your garden. Also find out how to to recognize the few species in Florida to avoid.

The Garden Club partners with the Museum of Science and History, MOSH Jacksonville, to bring you this fun and informative program.

Budding Gardeners is aimed at children in grades 1-6 to discover gardening, conservation, and wildlife through interactive programs, crafts, and outdoor projects. Children and their parents or caregivers collaborate during a morning of healthy and fun activities. A snack in sealed packaging will be served.

The program is free for members and only $5 for nonmembers, but space is limited. Registration is required, so we know how many supplies to provide. Please call 904-355-4224 if your child cannot attend, so we can allow those on the waiting list to take part.
