Join Connie Gladding, President of the North Florida Daylily Society, Senior Exhibition Judge and Instructor, and Garden Judge with the American Daylily Society, for an informative presentation exploring the fascinating world of daylilies. Learn about their fragrance, bloom size, pollination, hybridization, and the best practices for growing and caring for these beautiful, low-maintenance plants.

Drawing from years of gardening expertise and community leadership, Connie combines practical knowledge with a passion for helping others cultivate thriving gardens. From planting your very first daylily to expanding a well-established collection, you'll leave with valuable knowledge and inspiration to help your garden flourish.

Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase beautiful plants to take home.

Two potted daylilies will be available for just $25, the perfect addition to any garden.


More about Connie!

In 2018, Connie Gladding who is a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years, followed by building a consulting business focused on training, mentoring, and project management for information technology, retired and became actively involved as a volunteer serving her community. She is a Clay County Master Gardener and Master Educator; member of the Board of Directors for The Florida Federation of Garden Clubs (FFGC), Deep South Regional, and National Garden Clubs. In 2025, she was inducted into the FFGC Hall of Fame and in 2026 was nominated Clay County Woman of the Year.
