Join the Garden Club of Jacksonville for Propagating and Caring for Succulents: A Hands-On Workshop with horticulturist Myra Osborne.
Myra will present a short introduction to succulents, demonstrate propagation techniques, and lead participants in a hands-on workshop. Guests will learn how easy it is to create dozens of plants from one parent plant or even just a few cuttings, and participants will take home at least two potted plants.
Succulents are low-maintenance plants that thrive indoors, making them a beautiful and practical addition to any home.
Myra Osborne has led workshops throughout Duval, Clay, and St. Johns Counties. She earned a Horticulturist’s Associate Degree from Calhoun College in Alabama and spent 13 years as the First Coast TV news gardening segment presenter. A member of the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association, Myra also managed a large private greenhouse collection of orchids and succulents for 22 years.
