Horticulture Corner: World of Coffee

Join the Garden Club of Jacksonville for Horticulture Corner: The World of Coffee on July 7, 2026, from 6–8 p.m. for an engaging evening exploring one of the world’s most beloved plants and beverages. This edition of the Garden Club’s educational lecture series will take guests on a journey through the history, cultivation, culture, and global impact of coffee, while highlighting the fascinating horticulture behind every cup.

This month’s featured speaker is Oleksandra Kostyuk, a member of the Garden Club’s Wildflower Circle. Oleksandra will share insights into “The World of Coffee,” offering attendees an opportunity to learn more about coffee-growing regions, plant characteristics, cultivation practices, and the traditions that have shaped coffee culture. Her presentation will blend horticultural education with cultural appreciation, creating a unique and welcoming evening for gardeners, plant enthusiasts, and coffee lovers alike.

Garden Club of Jacksonville Horticulture Corner is an educational series featuring guest speakers and experts sharing insight on a variety of gardening and landscape topics, including plant conservation, soil health, garden design, seasonal practices, and environmental stewardship. This program is open to both members and nonmembers.
